The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department has been serving the state of California since 1850.
Founded in April 1850—coinciding with the official formation of Los Angeles County and California's statehood—it is one of the oldest and largest law enforcement agencies in the United States. From a humble initial staff consisting only of Sheriff George T. Burrill and two deputies, the agency has grown into a massive organization with over 130 sworn members.

Sheriff Drjustincool7 is the 2nd elected sheriff to command the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department in California State Roleplay. His long term service and outstanding work in his service with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Office.
